  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and let cool slightly before mixing it into the dry ingredients along with the eggs until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of brownie dough onto prepared baking sheets; create an indentation in each ball and fill with about half a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture before sealing.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set; allow cooling on wire racks before serving.
