Perfect for Christmas morning or any festive occasion, this easy-to-follow recipe transforms simple ingredients into a heartwarming treat that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Heat milk until warm and stir in melted butter. Combine both mixtures to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour until doubled in size.
  3. While the dough rises, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle.
  4. Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll tightly from one end and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Arrange sliced rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another half hour until puffy.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk while warm.
