Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; gradually incorporate it into the wet mixture until combined.
  4. Divide the dough into two parts, tint one red and one green with food coloring.
  5. Roll each colored dough between parchment paper into rectangles about 1/4 inch thick. Stack them (red on top of green) and roll tightly into a log shape.
  6. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and chill for at least an hour.
  7. Slice the chilled log into 1/4-inch rounds, place on prepared baking sheets, and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
