- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 oz phyllo dough (about 10 sheets)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add chicken. Cook until no longer pink inside.
- Let chicken cool slightly, then shred using forks. Mix shredded chicken with cumin and cinnamon.
- Unroll phyllo dough and cut into strips about three inches wide. Brush melted butter along one edge of each strip, place a spoonful of chicken filling at one end, fold into triangles.
- Arrange briouats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with remaining butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, mix Greek yogurt and lemon juice in a bowl; season with salt to taste.
