- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz refrigerated tortellini
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Place boneless chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- 2. Add minced garlic on top of the chicken and pour in chicken broth until it covers half of the chicken.
- 3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- 4. Once the chicken is tender, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until combined.
- 5. Add tortellini during the last 30 minutes of cooking time; stir gently to coat in sauce.
- 6. Serve hot with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
