- 12 oz smoked kielbasa, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop the onion and slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces. No need to thaw the frozen pierogies.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion in a splash of oil until soft and translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Layer half of the frozen pierogies in your crockpot, followed by half of the sautéed onions, half of the kielbasa slices, and half of the shredded cheese. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used.
