  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into one-inch pieces.
  2. Place the sweet potato cubes in the crockpot and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Dot the top with butter pieces and add sea salt.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until fork-tender.
