Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Mince garlic and slice steak into thin strips.
  2. Boil salted water and cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Sear the steak in batches for about 3-4 minutes each until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Lower heat to medium-low, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce.
  5. Add cooked noodles and seared steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything evenly with the sauce.
  6. Serve on plates, garnished with scallions and sesame seeds.
