  • 2 lbs russet potatoes (peeled and chopped)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return them to the pot.
  2. Mash the potatoes with butter and heavy cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper; keep warm.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.
