  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp additional cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Spoon half of the dough into another bowl; stir in additional cocoa powder and peanut butter to create the brownie swirl batter.
  6. Alternate scoops of regular cookie dough and brownie batter on prepared baking sheets, swirling them gently with a toothpick.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but soft. Cool before serving.
