  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy. Add pumpkin puree and eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized mounds onto prepared sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  6. Allow cookies to cool slightly on wire racks while making the cream cheese frosting by beating softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Frost cookies once they are cool enough to handle.
