  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and thaw shrimp if frozen. Finely chop bell peppers, onion, celery, and garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and celery until softened (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp are pink (3–4 minutes).
  4. Fold in the rice until well combined. Pour in chicken broth or water as per package instructions for cooking rice.
  5. Cover the skillet and let it simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until rice is fluffy and flavors meld together.
  6. Fluff with a fork before serving; garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
