  • 4 medium zucchinis (sliced)
  • 1 lb ground turkey (or beef)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Layer half of the sliced zucchini in the baking dish, followed by half of the cooked meat, half of the pizza sauce, and half of the cheese. Repeat these layers.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil during the last 10 minutes for a bubbly, golden top.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
